As of 2020, 65% of all jobs in the U.S. require a postsecondary education of a high-level certificate or higher. Further, educational attainment is one of only two research-backed ways for individuals to mobilize out of generational poverty. While parts of our community have already reached the necessary level of postsecondary attainment for today's living wage careers, other areas are generationally behind.
